Pastor Burrell Biography
Pastor Burrell is a native of Dallas, Texas. He received his Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from Denver Baptist Bible College in 1982 and his Master’s in Theology Degree (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1988, where he distinguished himself as a recipient of the Ruben S. Connor Award for Evangelism. He served six years as a professor at Southern Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas. He currently serves as a chaplain with Marketplace Ministries and he has a wide range of pastoral and teaching experience, including:
Two years in Youth Evangelism in Great Falls, Montana
Six years in Outreach, Visitation, and Evangelism in Denver, Colorado
Two years in a Church Planting ministry in Denver, Colorado
Ten years as Assistant Pastor in Christian Education and Youth Pastor in Fort Worth, Texas
Pastor Burrell accepted a position with Urban Evangelical Mission (U.E.M.) out of Dallas, Texas, to plant this new ministry in the Orlando area. He and his family relocated to Orlando in late December 1994. Since then, they have been actively engaging others in the unique God-given opportunity of planting this exciting ministry.
